Shootings in Detroit Leave 3 Wounded

DETROIT, MI – Late Sunday night, two shootings occurred which left three men wounded. According to police, the men all appeared to be in their 20s. Moreover, an investigation is underway.

Furthermore, reports state that two men, 22- and 23-years-old were shot around 10:15 p.m. However, the gunman and location are still unknown.

As a result, both men were privately transported to a hospital where they were treated for serious injuries. In addition, the men were listed in critical condition. Still, the details of the shooting, why it occurred, and the parties involved are unclear.

Apart from this, a different shooting which occurred forty-five minutes later involved another victim in his 20s. According to police, a 25-year-old man was walking down the street around 11 p.m. on Detroit’s west side when he heard gunshots. Shortly after, he felt pain and realized he had been shot.

Moreover, the second shooting occurred in the section of Schoolcraft and Winthrop, just west of Greenfield.

The man was also rushed to the hospital for treatment. As of now, he is listed in temporary critical condition too.

Nonetheless, the reasons for the shootings were not made known. Also, it should be noted that the identity of the shooter is unknown as well.
